Tip of the cap to the people who run the sound system at Target Field for playing Neil Young's "Cowgirl in the Sand" during that mound visit. Good catch there Chi. I started nodding off and missed it. I think they played "Rockin' in the Free World" a couple minuets later but I was hard to make out. |

Two great ones. "Powderfinger" is my all time Neil favorite. I also liked "Lotta Love" but I preferred Nicolette Larson's cover that was of course the hit version. She was a cutie who died way too young. Yeah, her and Linda Ronstadt sang backup on some of Neil's songs during the 70's. Neil wrote "Lotta Love" for Nicolette and "Love is a Rose" for Linda. |
