I recall when I was nine I thought that the starting pitcher would always get removed once he allowed a fourth run. It wasn’t true, but by nature of the way baseball worked in those days it often did go that way. Now, I haven’t a clue what the parameters might be…

Sanchez has to remember he need not reach out like a first baseman.

Sanchez has to remember he need not reach out like a first baseman. Seems like at least half of his errors are catcher's interferences.

Loaisiga has been generally nails this season. I remember a game where I think he gave up a 3 run dinger, but overall he has been good.

Miggy rolled himself a single down the third base line. Gently steered infield hit!

Ronstadt had a prominent backing vocal on "Heart of Gold" as I'm sure you know. It was just as she was starting to break out as a solo artist. Although she had already had a big hit fronting the Stone Ponies in 1967 with Mike Nesmith's "Different Drum." The was something about the way Ronstadt wore halter tops and tied shirts that just drove me crazy. There was also a poster she did with a white see through shirt while braless that was wildly erotic… proof positive that the female form doesn’t have to have mammoth breasts to delight the senses. <Horny old man? Nah. Horny old memories>. Mostly, she had the hottest eyes… Linda was a real babe in her day. Jerry Brown had the best of her years, I guess. Great voice, beautiful girl. What's not to love.
