I hope I'm putting the jinx on them, but so far the A's have made fewer stupid plays than any team I've seen the Yankees play this year.

I hope I'm putting the jinx on them, but so far the A's have made fewer stupid plays than any team I've seen the Yankees play this year. They're defensively sound thats for sure. That's why they lead their division. |

No nonsense, old school Manager, Bob Melvin has this team playing “the right way”. Plus they’re well-balance. Got some speed, got some power. Everybody catches the ball… We have: Boone… “Hey guys! We’ve lost 6 of 7. Go out there and have some fun today. Swing as hard as you want. Swing at borderline crap at the edge of the zone a lot. Make your own selfish field decision on taking extra bases, make unwise throws trying to make impossible plays, especially you Gleyber, you little scamp. Gary, if you get a little tired go ahead and get down on both knees. We’ll have someone else retrieve the balls that get by…okay! Let’s go have some fun!… |
