How's this Judge in center thing working out? He’s done well. Not a great play, but he tracked one back to the wall and made it look routine today. Something Frazier failed to do. He looked a bit like Frazier 2019 as he turned an out into a triple… |

Mariners Shed Long walks it off the Mariners in the bottom of the 10th with a grand slam as the Rays bow 6-2, extending the Rays loosing streak to six games and preventing them from overtaking the Red Sox for first place. The Yanks sit 4.5 games behind the Red Sox snd 4 games behind the Rays…

He’s always under control, doesn’t rush, and gets good jumps off the bat. This should not be surprising because he played centerfield in college, too. |

He looked a bit like Frazier 2019 as he turned an out into a triple… To me, Judge looks much the same in centerfield as in right-field. He’s always under control, doesn’t rush, and gets good jumps off the bat. This should not be surprising because he played centerfield in college, too. I’d expect his range to be a bit suspect if he’s severely tested, but once he gets going those massive strides chew up a lot of ground. It’s nice having his arm there, too… |

He was a Yankee for five minutes before being traded to Texas for Josh Stowers, who is now in the Rangers minor league system. I can't find who, if anyone, the Yanks got for Stowers. |

What are you gonna name your son? I think of a stinky, stuffed building where I pile junk high and cram the lawn mower and gas can inside along with the lawn chemicals. There’s varmints in thar. Yep. I’ll call the boy “Shed”. Not “She Shed”. That’d be too much like a boy named Sue, ya know? Shed. Like my old building that’s needed paint for 32 years. Or like a snake skin. “Shed”, cause my cousins are named “Dilapidated Building” and “Chicken Coop”, so those names is already taken. Then there was my Uncle “Corn Crib”, rest his soul…

Sorry I missed this one. But game ending triple play? Another triple play again? UNREAL. A great series win against the team coming in had the best record in the AL! Down to 4.5 games behind Boston and 4 behind the suddenly skidding Rays! Things are looking up!

The Diamondbacks have won just 2 games in that span. 
Since May 21, the Yankees have turned more triple plays (3) than the Diamondbacks have won games (2)
