Rays and Red Sox both lost again.
Yankees pull to 3 in the loss behind the Rays and 4 in the loss behind the Red Sox. Just a week ago they were 9 back in the loss.

I haven’t followed the Rays losses closely, but these last two have to be particularly galling for them. Struggling to pull the games out only to lose in the bottom of the respective 10th innings, under the worst overtime rules in sports…

Has Chi been around yet today? Horrible tornado near him last night. I’m thinking it was a bit east of his town. Let’s pray for him…

Let us know Chi. If he did 8AM, we can be pretty sure the thing missed him. It was ugly, tore the stuffing out of the neighborhood it struck…Described as being “South East of Chicago”. I think he’s pretty much due south…

Has Chi been around yet today? Horrible tornado near him last night. I’m thinking it was a bit east of his town. Let’s pray for him… Thanks for thinking of me guys! I'm OK, although we had to go down to our basement last night around 11:00 pm due to a tornado warning that lasted about 30 minutes. A tornado did strike down around 15 miles north of us but never came that close to where I'm at, although we had heavy rain and wind. It's messed up to be this close to Chicago and still have the occasional tornado warning.

Glad you're okay. We had a tornado hit within three miles two years ago, and the damage was awful. Nothing to mess with, and a nerve-wracking experience.

Once in south Louisiana, a tornado ripped apart two large trees only about 20 feet from our house. Amazingly, it caused zero damage to the house itself. After it passed our house, it traveled a half mile down the dirt road to my grandmother’s house, where it nearly sucked her out of the window of her bedroom, where she was sewing. She wrapped her arms through the brass rails of her bed and held on. The tornado actually lifted the house off it’s pylons but set it back down again just a bit askew. Other than that, there was no real damage. Lucky for both of us. Another guy a few miles away had the tornado clean out his deep freezer in his garage. It was full of beef, shrimp, freshwater fish, etc.

Fortunately the tornado missed it and there was no damage.
