Defensively, Andujar seems not appreciably worse than Frazier, who appears to have regressed from last year, except for three spectacular diving plays. Both have trouble with timing when they get close to the wall, jumping too early. Frazier has been off line on throws this season, missing the cut off man or way up the line on throws home. Except for Judge and Urshela, this is a very mediocre team with the glove. You may have forgotten DJ. Either way, DJ is moved around far too much to be his most effective, and Urshela and Judge are also being moved around to positions that are less than their best. No, not forgotten, just playing out of position. DJ is okay at first, mostly from not playing the position regularly in his baseball career. He’s also okay at third base. DJ is above average at second, but he rarely plays there.

Duffy is eating us alive. Just two hitters in, but he chewed up DJ and Aaron…

He’s solid. Just doesn’t draw walks to put him in another tier of production.

Yankees do not respond to get The Pizza King off the hook.

Imagine if you will:
What if the Yankees had invested in Ohtani, and he was on this team right now? Another top tier pitcher and outfielder on the team…
For the record, I was not on board with Ohtani at the time..,

They mentioned that this was Duffy's 200th start for the Royals and named the handful of others who had done so. That would have been a good trivia question.
Not sure I recall all the rest, but the list included Bret Saberhagen, Paul Splittorf, Kevin Appier and Mark Gubicza.
Gotta check Steve Busby.

Oh yeah, Larry Gura was on that list. And 150 starts for Busby.

Another top tier pitcher and outfielder on the team… For the record, I was not on board with Ohtani at the time.., Yankees tried to invest plenty in him, but Ohtani made it clear he wanted to be in a small market and a team preferably on the west coast, which is where he is. Money wasn’t the issue with Shobunny.

Bases loaded for Odor. I will be pleasantly surprised if any runs result.

Leave them loaded again. Like death and taxes. But did he swing hard? That's what's important.
