The Royals station just showed a clip of what Duffy throws for strikeouts. It appears about 60% are high fastballs, just like Roughie chased. If we can know that, why can’t Roughie know it?… |

I wasn’t aware Duffy was an opener tonight… I was enjoying his lack of control in inning 2 and seeing his pitch count rise. The 200th “start” thing became sort of dirty…

Seemed like a lot of years in Cleveland, but he moved around a bit, too.., I figured you might remember him. Good field no hit. Traded from the Giants to the Reds for George Foster. But mostly with Cleveland as you note. |
