And Andujar gets no love for a return to third, even as a back up. He’s also not likely to make any heroic plays in left, with the exception of a throw… He’s better in left than I expected, but I had modest expectations…

Danny Duffy is not only still playing baseball, but he’s still in KC. I recall when he was a suspected target of the Yankees several years back. He’s still only 32, and has been effective this season, with a 1.94 ERA…

Still a dull feeling after the Yankees again let a win slip away - especially another solid Gerrit Cole start - due to poor defense and a lack of hitting with RISP. The Gyro King needs a gem today unless the bats get to Duffy early. If the Wiener King is on top of his game, Boone may forget to call for a reliever until after the fifth inning, but that’s probably crazy thinking.

Both have trouble with timing when they get close to the wall, jumping too early. Frazier has been off line on throws this season, missing the cut off man or way up the line on throws home. Except for Judge and Urshela, this is a very mediocre team with the glove.

Hard to imagine Boone allowing Knish King to exceed the magical 4 2/3 innings limit he favors so that starters don't get any ideas about posting a W. That kind of thinking went out with Bob Welch after his disgraceful 27-win season back in the 80s. Gotta keep them fresh for October.
There actually is a Knish King restaurant in Brandon, Florida. I did my due diligence for a change.

Another disgruntled or maybe gruntled comment: I still cannot believe Boone lifted Luke Voit for a pinch runner when he was already at third base.

Either way, DJ is moved around far too much to be his most effective, and Urshela and Judge are also being moved around to positions that are less than their best.
