No, but the question was 700 games for the Royals and also played for the Yankees. Johnny Damon? In the summer of 1994 I was on home leave from Saudi Arabia and went with my brother and cousin to a Wilmington Blue Rocks game. They were the Royals Class A Carolina League affiliate. Johnny Damon was on that team, and was the only one who made it to the majors. I of course didn't have any idea who he was, but I bought a T-shirt that had the whole roster imprinted on it. When I was getting rid of junk several years later I fished it out and by then he was with the Royals. One of the weirdest things that ever happened to me at a ball game happened at that one. A story for later when there's no game on. |
