Yes! Happy birthday to the Jeet! While we’re at it, for the older folks here, June Lockhart is 96 years old today. I wonder how many will even find that name familiar… Haha. The mother on "Lassie" and "Lost In Space" and Dr. Janet Craig on "Petticoat Junction." A few months ago I saw her in her film debut, the 1938 version of "A Christmas Carol." Her real- life parents, Gene and Kathleen Lockhart, played her parents in the movie. I remember an interview with Bill Mumy, who played her son Will Robinson on "LIS" and he said she was a real rock and roller who took him to the LA hotspots in the 60s (even then she would have been in her mid-40s) and introduced him to acts like The Doors and The Byrds. Very different from her prim TV persona. Today she would probably be arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, although she does not appear to have done anything nefarious to the young Mr. Mumy. Who BTW is an intelligent and entertaining person in his own right. Thanks for mentioning June Lockhart, Inger. |

She played the role of Belinda Cratchit as an uncredited actress… her actual parents played the roles of the parents of her and the other Cratchit children… |
