Angels were sitting slider. They’ve seen his fastball command the last three appearances. Nobody sits on a slider on Aroldis Chapman.

Green and/or Loaisiga should be the closers next few years, trade Chapman elsewhere. For an organization so worried about luxury tax, they throw way too much $ at relievers.

Yea I'm so sick of the "shutdown bullpen" thing. By the end of the season the last couple seasons the bullpen has been spent so it can't be dominant since the starters can't go five innings or more consistently. |
