I just don't get it if you have a 4 run lead and there's a couple walks why not take him out sooner? Not that Luetge has been good here either, but he might not give up the grand slam.

After how Chapman has pitched in the three appearances before this one, I would have pulled him after the second walk, but certainly after the third walk. But, this is what happens when you keep pulling starters when their pitch count is in the 70s. Boone doesn’t want to pitch Green tonight, so he leaves in Luetge too long. Luetge was one pitch away from getting out of the inning, but it was obvious he didn’t have enough time to warm up, which is also Boone’s fault. |

Scoring 7 in t first and still losing. The Cubs did 7 in the first today and still lost 15-8. No more scoring 7 in the first for us…

Of course 2 of the 3 teams in front of them lose. Tampa is really playing bad lately, but the Yankees couldn't take advantage again. They honestly should have caught them by now. They are 4-9 since June 15th, but the Yankees are only 7-7 in the same period.
