No not recently. I am into hydrochloric acid these days The last time I used that stuff was in about 2006. The owner of the business I was working for wanted me to paint the dirty concrete floors of the store. I told him the paint would peel off unless he’d let me etch the floors with muriatic acid, which is the industrial name for hydrochloride acid. So I had every body else lock the yard as they left, left the doors hanging open and had a blast with about 8 gallons of it. Scrubba-scrubby. It was a weekend, so I painted the next day. It was a beautiful job, I must say. Of course, you SHOULD have a watchman with you doing something like that in case you need a rescue… Did I? Nah… |
