Ok boys, let's make it 3 in a row! It's going to be tough against Kikuchi, so German needs to pick up his game. Well, this post aged well.

1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 2B 2. Aaron Judge (R) RF 3. Gary Sanchez (R) C 4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH 5. Luke Voit (R) 1B 6. Gleyber Torres (R) SS 7. Gio Urshela (R) 3B 8. Brett Gardner (L) CF 9. Tim Locastro (R) LF I don’t understand sitting Andujar against a lefty and starting Gardner, when you have Locastro to man centerfield. Surprised Boone didn’t rest Voit and start Odor. I thought Locastro was supposed to platoon with Gardner in CF, two OF's who can't hit, instead Boone plays together.

Inject that fool with some Novocaine and get him out there! There's no one else to start but the guy with the 9.75 ERA?

On, Cessa, on Luetge, on Peralta and Green. And Boone rode his bullpen til he could ne’er be seen. Rizz in his Kerchief and Kaybli in his cap Had just settled down for a nice game long nap…

Was hoping German got punched in the face by somebody and resulted in a root canal, bummed it's just a regular procedure.
Lets get a W.

Maybe while they have German out they can go ahead and drill a bit deeper into his head and pull a couple demons out of there…

Watching cubs game, its amazing how intimate Wrigley is. No frills, just a ballpark, its community and a ballgame in front of em. Beautiful stuff. Then I think of what a shit stadium Randy and Lonn put together in YS3, how corporate, overpriced (im sure wrigley gouges as well), and unnatural the environment is.
I can only imagine how special original yankee stadium was, pre 70s renovation. Anyone care to share if they were lucky enough to attend?

Probably a big reason they aren't seeing the crowds they were expecting after opening up the place to full capacity.

Never heard of an "emergency" root canal. Must have been hurting pretty bad. I've had 2, but they were scheduled well ahead of time.

One of the advantages of getting Locastro is that you don’t have to play Gardner vs. LHP. He used to hang in pretty well vs. LHP, but not so much any more… The only reason to put them on the field together is to improve OF defense. So from that standpoint, it’s not the end of the world… Andujar’s bat came to life a while back, but he’s gone pretty cold again… Andujar had two hits last night and was robbed of a third. Gardner has two hits in his last 37 plate appearances. Since June 23, Andujar is batting .294/.351/.412/.763.
