No Park or Amburgey, but a power hitting OF second to none. ODOR THIRD WTF! 1. LeMahieu 3b 2. Stanton DH 3. Odor 2b 4. Sanchez c 5. Torres ss 6. Gardner cf 7. Gittens 1b 8. Locastro lf 9. Allen rf That one double Odor hit will have Boone starting him until everyone’s back from COVID-19.

A team desperate for offense refuses to play a kid who's absolutely deserved it so far in the minors this year with an absurd .450 OBP in 250 PA. BaBoone has his own kind of logic.

Let's call up both outfielders and sit both wow Yep, as if providing more chances for Gardner and Locastro is the answer.

I predict Stanton hits a home run that leaves everyone gasping. It'll be a solo shot of course and won't make an iota of difference. But it will be impressive. He’ll miss third base. The home run will be downgraded to a double and the third out…

The thing that irks me as well is the yankee beat reporters dont even have the understanding to ask, "hey Park has been extremely impressive in AAA this year and plays multiple positions, it's been obvious what some veterans like Odor, Gardner, Locastro are, and heck Torres desperately needs a good 2-3 days off maybe to clear his head, why not play Park and see what you have before the deadline?"
Boone talk about "compete" and analytics, well a .450 OBP over 240+ PA is a damn fine compete in any analytical form for someone who's still a legit prospect. But I guess that wouldnt nab clicks on social media and headlines in papers. Idk, honestly smells to me like Park will be packing his bags to another organization quite soon.

There are no Gaps in this outfield. Zoom!!! Indeed. We've weeded out anyone who might could hit. Yeah. I was thinking… except the gaps in the line up…

.190/.217/.429 That's Lascastro's slash line with the Yankees. Overall this season, he's hitting .180 with a -.8 WAR. Why would you keep playing this guy? It makes absolutely no sense.

If this was an ideal roster, he’d make a great 5th outfielder that could pinch run and play late inning defense…He showed a lot of promise in 2019. Big that was in a different role on a different team…

It's absurd.

It's just so annoying how the Red Sox in the last 10 years or so have had multiple last place seasons yet in a years time can just vault to first place and multiple world series. Yet the Yankees have these oh so close years for most of the last decade and not even 1 World Series appearance to show for it.
On top of that their cheating manager gets a year off then gets to come back.

Game delayed. I'm entertaining relatives. Won't catch much of this one even if they play.
