They are 6th in runs in the AL and 13th in runs in the MLB in the last 30 days so I really can't blame the offense for the faults lately the bullpen has basically fell apart.
They also have went all the way up to 8th in the MLB in HR over the whole season and are only 6 behind 5th place. 5th in the AL and only 3 behind 3rd place.

Let him pitch to the back end of the lineup and have Green warm just in case. That way, you don’t have the three batter rule to worry about, if he’s gets in trouble in the ninth. |

To be fair in the postgame Montgomery said his legs were heavy in the 6th and he told Boone that. Probably why he was taken out after 83 pitches.
