Query: Do Gil and Riddings get another chance or get sent down? King pitched 6 shutout innings in his first game of this season and was immediately sent to AAA. I think Gil is here because of the COVID situation. One more start, at least. I’d certainly think that Heaney’s spot is susceptible to challenge, but I have a hard time imagining Gil having smooth mechanics like tonight consistently. Ridings is appearance to appearance… live to see him stay but, maybe a bit more seasoning while Boone opts for “experience”… |

Red Sox are down 4-2 in the 7th in Detroit. If that holds up the Yankees will be only FOUR back in the loss of them. Rays are also losing in the 9th at home vs Seattle . If that holds up the Yankees will be 5 back of them in the loss. They are still 2 back of A's who are facing the Padres.
