Taillon deserves this win. Fracking Boone. They need to change how victories are determined. It made less of a difference when pitchers routinely went seven or more innings. |

So to me, that was a prime example of what is meant by a player trying to do too much. If Mountcastle yields, or if Stewart takes charge doesn’t matter. Mountcastle was not going to catch that ball…

Yet there are a couple guys with 13 wins, and a shot at 20. I still can’t believe there are no relievers chasing 20 wins. All the wins taken from starters just seem to dissipate… a different vulture consuming them each night… |
