24 year old needs a day off during the playoff push. When I was 24 years old, I could work for 8 hours, go play two hours of tennis in 98 degree heat, then go play a league softball game at night, swatting mosquitoes in 80% humidity, while sweating alcohol through every pore of my body, celebrate after the game and be fresh as a dew-brushed daisy the next morning. At 24, CHI probably ran marathons on back to back days. |

Is Heaney really a fly ball pitcher? If so, then I really don’t understand the acquisition, especially since they wanted Clay DH Holmes because of his ground ball rate. 43.4% Flyball percentage 24.5% Linedrive percentage 32.1% Groundball percentage
Not great for Yankee stadium.
Not ideal at all. Is Cashman a drinker? Is he making night trades in an Ambien stupor? |

Another base runner abuses Gardner's noodle arm. We're getting close to Johnny Damon level throws now. Two of the weakest throws I’ve seen this year was the one that didn’t clear second base and that all-out, body moving forward heave by Inger’s Guy from medium depth that hit the cutoff man. Those were definitely cooked pasta arms. |
