Eff this bullpen man. I'm sick of this crap. With two outs, all he had to do was keep the ball in the ballpark.

All of our big sluggers seem to chase so many sliders.
Alert move by Gardner. Screw them! Steal home…

The 4th time in this game Judge has given the Yanks the lead.

The Yanks destroy Hendricks for the second straight game. Will this be enough for Britton?

Is the Gallo/Judge combo beginning to blossom? … Boy, Hendricks is taking a beating in this series… Over-animated bum…

Will 3 runs be enough?

LaRussa looks more like a corpse than Torre did in his last couple seasons. That’s hard to do…Good lord, I’m having more and more trouble thinking of myself living as long as some of these people that I see that aren’t that much older than me…

Inger on Davis Then: “He has a stronger arm than Allen.” “Davis has some pop.” “He’s a better base stealer.” “I like the way he looks. He looks athletic.” Inger on Davis now: “I understood it from a baseball perspective.” What was the baseball perspective again that sent two outfielders with speed that could both play all three outfield positions to AAA, when each had performed well after their call up with .900+ OPS? I don’t recall saying he was a better base stealer. I respect Allen’s base stealing skills. Anyway, the primary function of the player is to play versus left hand pitching in a platoon with Gardner. Allen was hitting .185 vs. LHP. I think Davis is about .150 versus LHP. Neither one is very helpful in that respect. The Florial decision is of a different sort. It’s about development. The Yanks experts see a lot more of him, and must feel he needs more time to ready himself for a long term MLB exposure. Given his age and past history, I can see that is likely to be true. I still stand by the decision from a baseball <business> a word you left out of my past quotes, perspective. Neither player is likely to get us too, nor fail to get us to our end season goals… My apologies: You listed Davis’ steals and his times caught in your defense of acquiring him. I then listed those of Allen, which were superior to Davis. Davis is worse against lefties than Allen, which doesn’t support your position, then or now. Listing or not listing the word business makes no difference at all, as it supplies zero explanation for sending down either player who had performed at a .900 OPS clip when the Yankees needed (and still need) offense. How is that beneficial in a business sense, much less a baseball sense? You have zero precognition for what either player would have supplied in the future or to this point. We only know how they had played before being sent down and that they energized the team that was 11-4 with them, leading to shaving games off the AL East lead.

Come on Green, you can't let that happen. Never go with your second or third best pitch in that situation.
