Two quick outs, followed by a bad call, now a hit by a pitch, and now TV dinner (credit to pipps) is up. Hey just checking in -- Kaybli, I can't take credit for the TV dinner name. I piled on, but I think it was Inger's baby. My mistake. Hat tip to Senor Inger.

Stanton getting back on one of those streaks. When he is hot he's volcanic.

Whats the point of the strike box being shown if the calls in it don't get called strikes? Just to piss us all off.

I guess we could call Morton Chicken Pot Pie. If you've heard of that one. Man you're good. The father of one of my best friends in college was a senior executive at Morton. Even though they were rolling in money, they were forced to eat Morton frozen foods a couple of times a week.

Morton's ERA+ for his 14-year career is 100, exactly average. By far his three best seasons have come in the last four years, starting with his age 34 season. Throw out the 2020 short season, and they have been 142, 133 and 130.

Trivia: 4 pitchers won 15+ games in at least 16 seasons. Who are they?

7 in a row retired by Heaney. He should have a shutout. He's been a different pitcher these past two starts.
