Morton's ERA+ for his 14-year career is 100, exactly average. By far his three best seasons have come in the last four years, starting with his age 34 season. Throw out the 2020 short season, and they have been 142, 133 and 130. I would say its the Spider Tack he learned from Houston but he's been pitching well even after they cracked down on it. |

Rumor was he wanted to stay close to his home in Florida. But I think if we offered him a good deal we could have gotten him. |
