From the Useless Information Department: Paul Goldschmidt just passed Delino Deshields for most base hits for a player born in Delaware. It's not a real high bar. Obviously. I notice this stuff because I was born in Delaware. It's a small tribe. How did you even hear about that?

Whats the worst? The worst is probably John and Suzyn. But for TV -- hmm, since Hawk Harrelson retired it's not as cut and dried. I can't take Buck Martinez with the Blue Jays. Rex Hudler annoys me-- he's still Angels right? But the worst regional broadcasts are far better than just about any national crew, IMO. Hudler is announcing for the Royals now. For announcing teams, I'd say the Pirates are the worse because their announcers are dry and will put you to sleep. Fortunately, we don't need to watch to many Bucco games.

Why is Cole getting squeezed this much? It's absurd.

Happy to get home to see a 5-0 lead for about 12 seconds before it became 5-1… We need to score more to get this into laugher range… just in case…

As much as I like Cole, I don't want to see him break Guidry's single season K record. Gator was one of the special ones.

Do you remember Bob Prince with the Pirates? He was as big of a homer as Hawk. The self-styled "Gunner."

At least Urshela seems to be seeing the ball better today.

I was too young to remember Prince but I know he was a legend in Pittsburgh. Bob Prince, Myron Cope and Mike Lange, probably the most popular sports media personalities in the Burgh'. Lange just retired for doing Penguin game last month.

I used to hate the dryness of the Phillie broadcasts when I was a boy. Richie Ashburn just droned… Fantastic player, though. Sort of a one of a kind…

The hitting coach, Thames, might have to pay the price for all these ground balls and the lack of adjustments by Yankee hitters.
