LOL. Yet your average mile in a 20 mile race was faster than any mile I've ever completed in my life. Pretty impressive Chi!
Thanks Kay, I was really slow the last 5 miles, hoping I didn't yak on forest trial that I was on. Not to brag about my distance running, but I’ve hit quite a few inside the park home runs in my life. That’s about as far as I ever typically needed to run at any point in my life..

If it was to save my life, I’d have just laid down and played dead… “No respect at all...why this guy I know he’s a big hunter, you know. So, he asks me you wanna go hunting? I said, “I’m game!” and he shot me.” How he got in my pajamas, I’ll never know…

Chi did that 293 times today! While sick!

Damn! Now I’ll REALLY have to quit bragging about it… I figured rounding the bases had to be somewhere near to 8-10 miles…

Did you ever see that picture of the guy who crapped himself while running a marathon? I'm not going to post it here because its pretty disgusting. But just be thankful that didn't happen. That's a nightmare scenario, having to dump while running an important race. The portable potties are gross but going in your pants instead?

I once saw a video of a Japanese game show. They would dress the contestants in what looked like white latex pants. They would give them all enemas and the contest was to see who could HOF “it” the longest. The audience was ecstatic when the contestants would start, um… “dropping out”… really gross… Japanese standards are soooo different. We think of them as traditional and conservative…

I have a few more bowel movement stories in my quiver. I’ll add one or two if public demand is strong enough…

Gil optioned after the game. He needs to work on his command but this is reason #101 why the Yankees aren't good at developing prospects at the major league level, they kick these kids to curb at the slightest sign of trouble.

He needs to work on his command but this is reason #101 why the Yankees aren't good at developing prospects at the major league level, they kick these kids to curb at the slightest sign of trouble. He isn't needed in the rotation for awhile with the off days coming up but I would have kept him as a bullpen piece.
This looks like the rotation going forward with days of rest in parenthesis:
Sun., Sept. 19th vs. Cleveland: Gerrit Cole (4) (announced) Mon., Sept. 20th vs. Rangers: Nestor Cortes (4) Tues., Sept. 21st vs. Rangers: Jordan Montgomery (4) Weds., Sept. 22nd vs. Rangers: Kluber (4) Thursday, Sept. 23rd: off Fri., Sept. 24th at Red Sox: Cole (4, skip Gil) Sat., Sept. 25th at Red Sox: Cortes (4) Sun., Sept. 26th at Red Sox: Montgomery (4) Mon., Sept. 27th: off Tues., Sept. 28th at Blue Jays: Kluber (4) Weds., Sept. 29th at Blue Jays: Cole (4) Thurs., Sept. 30th at Blue Jays: Cortes (4) Fri., Oct. 1st vs. Rays: Montgomery (4) Sat., Oct. 2nd vs. Rays: Gil (13, latest the Yankees could push their fifth starter back) Sun., Oct. 3rd vs. Rays: Kluber (4) Mon., Oct. 4th: off (or a Game 163 tiebreaker with Cole on 4 days rest) Tues., Oct. 5th: Wild Card Game (Cole on 5 days rest or Cortes on 4 days rest)
Also, Taillon might be coming back.

Gonna go out on a limb and say Yankees will have a new manager and catcher in 2022. I mean I'm not seeing much difference between Girardi to Boone both overstep way too much into games, crazy lineups, bizarre losses etc The Phillies fans complaints about Girardi are nearly identical to Yankees fans complaints about Boone, except that he is not regarded so much as a total mouthpiece for the front office. Also, instead of rest, he talks about keeping players "safe," which I guess is pretty much the same thing only ratcheted up a notch.
