The Cardinals won their thirteenth straight and are well ahead going for number 14. The last time they had a streak like that was 1935. The team of Dizzy and Daffy and Ducky and Pepper and Ripper and The Lip and The Fordham Flash.
They don't make nicknames like they used to.
