Assuming success on the bunt… which can’t be assumed. He might have popped it up into to a DP. We’re pretty creative in how we find ways to DP… Stanton should have bunted instead of hitting a three run HR. Stanton is not batting .188 with no power. |

The Cardinals won their thirteenth straight and are well ahead going for number 14. The last time they had a streak like that was 1935. The team of Dizzy and Daffy and Ducky and Pepper and Ripper and The Lip and The Fordham Flash. They don't make nicknames like they used to. I wonder what they tried to do with Jack Glasscock and Tony Suck? Maybe worse, what would they do with them today? … |
