Baseball and it’s streakiness. A task appearing near impossible just a few days ago seems much more plausible. Yet we have to remain wary of the task at hand. If the Yanks go 3-5, and if some of those losses are directly against the Blue Jays we open the door very wide for them. Stay tuned. Let’s hope there’s not a surprise ending. Look upward and we still see Boston. Wouldn’t it be great to sweep and change tgat scenario? Let’s get number two tomorrow and put the pressure on them. So strange how early in the year, when the full weight of pressure was not on their shoulders, every rocket hit toward Devers was flagged down, but tonight the ball got under his glove, and then Gardy beat him bad with the shift. We found a lot of holes with our bats and knocked their ace of the hill early… Pressure baby… who responds, and sho doesn’t… “So here we are in the ninth with two men on” (Billy Joel, “Pressure”) 1-2-3-4 Pressure!

Basically need to sweep this series and hope toronto loses 1 more game for max cushion. Don't forget Seattle is not far behind Toronto

Great job guys.
Question - If we get one of the two wild card spots, it all comes down to 1 playoff game to see which one of us continues? Man, that is heavy.

Remember when Seattle traded their closer Kendall Graveman at the deadline? The players were pissed, and they should still be pissed.

I wonder what Chad Green thinks about Chapman already warming up in the pen before he throws one pitch? In the circumstances, he should accept it and respond to the challenge. Just my opinion. I actually like it… That used to be a common occurrence, as some managers had no patience for an opening inning walk. Of course, now with the new rule, one and done is another vestige of the past.
