A John McGraw-style hit for Iglesias.

Bad call by an umpire allows the inning to continue when it should be over.

. I wouldn’t ask a hitter to bunt when everyone was teeing off. It was unlucky where they hit the ball to, that’s all… When you hit below .200 you have one chance in five, less actually to get a hit. Bunting is something NL pitchers can do. One is easier than the other. It is not unlucky you did not get a hit when you bat .188. It is what is likely. He’s a talented hitter that has into a lot of bad luck this season… He could easily hit for a better average with extended playing time…

Beautiful play by Gallo to hold that to a single. He can definitely flash the leather.

Jeez, Dalbec leads the AL in SLG since the All Star break. Hard to believe.

Strange Boone didn't trust Holmes against a lefty.

Bunting is something NL pitchers can do. One is easier than the other. It is not unlucky you did not get a hit when you bat .188. It is what is likely. Higgy has a disastrous .198 BABIP this season. The league average is around .300. We’re going to pretend you have a clue what that means, but if you don’t, feel free to ask. In addition, in his “no power” career that you accuse him of he’s hit 20 HR in 370-something AB. That’s good power. You let him swing because he had enough power to turn on a ball an knock those runners in…

Wandy whiffs Dalbec to end the threat. Wandy has won me over. That change up is incredible. He can throw it five or six times in a row and the batters still can’t time it…

He’s a talented hitter that has into a lot of bad luck this season… He could easily hit for a better average with extended playing time… His lack of bunting cost us two runs Why don't you go check the 2021 game logs on Baseball Reference and find one time that a non-pitcher bunted with a 7 run lead. I guarantee it's never happened.
