I will play a viola for you Russ, no tiny violin. That really sucks. I’ve had a few things “pilfered” from me a few times, but never a full on robbery or burglary. It does feel very personal when you find out that someone valued something you own enough to take it from you. Do you have any idea who robbed you? … I suspect someone, but I have no proof. Just need to avoid having money at my house. Part of the problem is I just can't accept someone is a thief. That bothers me at a basic level. The last time I decided I just threw it away accidently, but this time that seems less likely. Sorry to hear that Russ. Bein robbed once is too many times and twice is just horrible. I agree with you about leaving so much money at your place, time to stick that extra cash in the back and use credit or debit cards as a means of payment. |

My sympathies as well Noetsi. I am assuming this was a break-in while you were out. Twice in six months is way out of whack for an area that is not high crime.
I hope you called the police. There may be a pattern of these robberies that could lead them to the perpetrator.

I just saw on the news the other day that a guy with a Hummer had his spare tire stolen off the back tailgate. So I checked and I don’t have locks on my mags, nor the spare. With Pueblo leading the nation in auto thefts per capita since forever, you have be prepared. I’m so thankful we have an attached garage…

When I bough my 2013 Focus it didn’t come with a spare. Owners were advised to call FOMOCO if they had a flat for road service. I have at least four different road service contracts now. One is included with my VISA card, my bank provides a free one (it sucks, I used it once), my full coverage insurance includes one at no “extra fee”, and there is one on my extended car warranty. No need to join or pay for AAA, not to change a flat unless we’re deep in the mountains and in a no service area… |
