Reynolds is going to cost you a hell of a lot more than Florial. Start with Dominguez or Volpe.

Reynolds is going to cost you a hell of a lot more than Florial. Start with Dominguez or Volpe. I figure as much. Not in love with any player in the organization to hug them if it improves the team. To me, Jasson has become a bit of a lottery ticket. I don’t like losing Volpe, but you have to give quality to get quality… I’d be happy to give up Florial along with Dominguez. Don’t need no martians on this team…

From NJ.com:
"MLB Trade Rumors reports the former New York Yankees outfielder agreed to a minor-league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers. The deal includes an invitation to major-league spring training."

Not sure Davis would make my high school team.

If we bring him back it should be with the plan that he starts no more than 20 games per season. PR, late inning defense, PH against RHP. Hang around the water cooler. Bang his bat off the dugout roof. Maybe actually run and steal a handful of bases. Bunt once in a while. We get a real CF, Hicks becomes the 4Th OF, which might keep him healthy. Might. Maybe. Gardner should be the clear #5… Lots of opportunity to play defense behind Stanton… * Quite truthfully, I would have rather pushed Gardy out the door and employed Locastro in this role in 2022. That ship has sailed is an under statement. It didn’t even float in NY…

Cash has to do something, right? He might be too tired from sleeping outside for charity last night.

Looks like, contrary to what I assumed, they will make no major efforts to improve the offense this year. Which will mean it will be painful to watch again.
