That's it! Reminds me so much of my best friend, Dave Fontenot. He loved Michael Keaton and movies, always quoting lines at the perfect time. Dave had a huge personality and an even bigger heart. Sadly, he died in a freak accident on I-10 in 1998 at only 35 years old. I miss him so much. We always talked about living next to each other one day or at least in retirement, playing golf and rooting for the Yankees and Saints and always searching for the best hole-in-the-wall, out-of-the-way lunch dives in south Louisiana. Dave used to do a spot-on impression of Jack Nicklaus' putting stroke. He also had a wonderfully funny impression of Slingin' Sammy Baugh from watching those old NFL films, when we were playing touch football. |

They exchanged Donny Sands and Nick Nelson on the 40 man roster for Oswaldo Cabrera and Everson Pereira. Peraza is already there, but not Volpe. We might be seeing a big trade coming soon to clear space for Volpe by exiting someone like Frazier, Andujar, Torres, or hopefully Voit, which could mean a trade with Oakland for instance. |

Okay, it did not mean a big trade coming  - just a roster dump for the Rule V draft. I still don't see Volpe? Does he not need protection? Andujar must still have trade value for the Yankees over Frazier. Does anyone pick up Wade, and are the Yankees betting they can get him back if he doesn't make a major league roster? |

At least we won't have to watch Odor's awful AB's next season. Getting DFA'd is good news for Wade since he can hook on with another team that will use him. Who knows if Frazier will ever play again? |
