The Yankees have settled on a first baseman, reportedly agreeing to terms with Anthony Rizzo on a two-year, $32MM guarantee. The deal pays the Sports One Athlete Management client $16MM salaries annually and gives him the opportunity to opt out after the 2022 campaign. Hopefully Cashman will retire. We won't ever win a WS while he is GM. You have to take chances and he is not capable of making significant moves.

So the Jays IF will be Vlad, Biggio, Bo and Chapman. Chapman is as good of a defensive third baseman as there is, but his BA has declined every year since his first full season in 2018. Last year he hit .210 with 27 HRs and 202 strikeouts.

Blue Jays feel like they can win the division and are going for it. Chapman might feast in that lineup and he gives them a gold glove third baseman. |

LOVE what the Blue Jays are doing got them at 30-1 = Feels good. After Matt Chapman trade, Blue Jays trying to trade for another All-Star infielder.
