As a fan, I would personally lock them in a room with food and water until they come out. The portions and quality of the food and water be diminished gradually until they get the message and come to a conclusion. Lidless 5 gallon buckets would serve as rest room facilities. As the buckets fill they can stack them in a corner, with no removal plan, just more empty buckets brought in daily. But I would provide hand sanitizer. We must be humane… no COVID testing. No leaving if ill. Just get this done…

Better to discuss the relative limits of Vector Auto-Regressive Models versus Vector Error Correction ones and the plausibility of cointegration applying to non-economic data. The latter point is a particular fascinating one which calls for long involved discussions...

While in truth, a very nice car, the style jump was a bit too shocking for the American public, causing an obvious regression in FOMOCOs sales… thoughts? …

It was the first purchase of a friend of mine as soon as he was hired for his first real job as an engineer.

My brother in law was working at Chrysler … and my father in law, too, when that hunk of junk came out. What they thought was going to save the company damned near sunk it…

The latter point is a particular fascinating one which calls for long involved discussions... Will we be identifying restrictions to calculate impulse-response functions or variance decompositions? If you do please explain them to me. Especially impulse response functions which are central to VAR, but which I have never understood how to use. Because of the issues of integration of different orders in equations I have fallen back on ARDL which is one of the few time series methods I know that allows this, at least in some versions.

Integration? Mixing of the races or lack thereof should have so little to do with time series. I just don’t get this…

Poll: Has Your Lockout Prediction Changed Recently?
Thank you, we have already counted your vote.
My feelings haven't changed significantly. 30.05% I am much more pessimistic. 26.94% I am slightly more pessimistic. 25.07% I am slightly more optimistic. 14.03% I am much more optimistic. 3.91% Return To Poll

I am much more pessimistic, but that may be due to various factors.

I think the owners just want to win in this dispute with the players. They could care less about any long term strategy of growing their sport.
