I can almost predict that wherever Gray lands, he’ll win at least 15-17 games and all of baseball will be laughing at the Yankees for giving him away for next to nothing. That’s totally fine with me. As a Yankee, he’s not a good pitcher. Add in the nonsense with his twitter account and if they get anything at all for him that’s a win. He’s the definition of a sunk cost. They traded three prospects for a guy who is now worthless to them. That’s life.

Cashman makes a minor league deal. Valdez had terrible numbers at A ball.

You can't stop Cashman, he rolls out of bed and makes another trade.

You can't stop Cashman, he rolls out of bed and makes another trade. Cash on a mission. I see Locastro has a .402 OBP at AAA, albeit in only 114 games. Plays both middle IF and CF, so that's a plus. He will turn 27 in the middle of next season, so obviously the Dodgers didn't consider him anything more than a marginal prospect. I don't think this will rank up there with acquiring Babe Ruth or even Didi Gregorious, but I'm always glad to see the Yanks picking through the discount bins. Every now and then it works out.

I read a scouting report somewhere that Locastro is a poor defensive infielder but can really run. I guess he's a possible bench player in September when rosters expand.

You can't stop Cashman, he rolls out of bed and makes another trade. Clearly now we are assured of a championship. Long Live the Locastro Dynasty!

Dome, what’s not to like? The LIST is so long for Not Signing him...that I will focus on just two:
1. Probably a eight to ten-year contract 2. Probably $$$ between $35 to $40 million/year.
How are you doing? How is Singapore? I hope all is well..

Dome- Both players are in their mid 20s, both are among the 5-8 best players around, given Didi’s injury, there is no certainty he will be back in 2019. BTW, he will be 30 soon and will be looking for a multi year deal. A lot of upside. If the team is serious about winning a championship in 2019, I would think probably Corbin and Machado will be signed. If they want to stay under the $207 million mark and be content with competing for a WC berth, that’s also cool with me, but just come out and say it. Didi’s offense will have to be replaced and what I’ve been hearing is that if Sanchez turns things around, if Bird is truly healthy, if Voit can pick up where he left off. I’m not sure if wishing stuff to happen is the best course of action. Singapore is fine. There are two seasons, rainy or not rainy. Otherwise the temps are the same year round. Life is good though. I love the international lifestyle, but miss Florida as well. Just waiting until they invent the Star Trek transporter so I can whiz back and forth.

Amazon Looking To Buy YES Network For Yankees Games
So how do you guys living in NYC area feel about this? I don’t live in NY, but I’m not looking foreward to watching games broadcast from Amazon field, nor to rooting for the NY Amazons, MLBs first all female team playing vs. the New Jersey Thunder Thighs, the second all female team... I guess I shouldn’t speculate on the name of the team in Virginia...

I wasn't aware that the FOX network owned YES.
