That was Inger circa 1970’s stuff there… 😂😎 2/3 of the earth is covered by water, the rest is covered by 1970's Leon Ingerson.  It continued into the 80’s, too… It was mid ‘89 when I walked away. I was 35. Still had my power bat. Could still run them down in the outfield, but the arm was done… I couldn’t bear to throw like that… Just no carry… |

Gleyber. It’s Boone’s fault though. What a dumbass move… I didn’t like Joey in for Locastro, either. Hoping for the blast from a guy hitting .143 with no XBH so far in ‘22…

When do they finally pull the plug on Gleyber? They're great at depleting young players values, why not another. Torres, Sanchez, Bird, Andujar, Frazier, what a complete flop the homegrown promotions have been after the initial uptick - they're lucky they can still contend while being so poor at producing young talent. What gives us any faith Volpe and/or Peraza will be different? All the sillier they didn't nab FAs this winter. |

Looking at that 7th inning, you have two speed guys due up. You’re in a game where you might need to manufacture a run, so you pull both guys for power hitters that you previously decided needed a rest day. There’s an insanity to it all…
