2-2 game against your division rival. Let's lift your starter after 65 pitches and bring in the one reliever that's struggled this year. What a great shovel from IKF to Torres!

Nicely done by Johnny Lasagna to work out of trouble!

Loaisiga gets lucky on that pitch for a DP grounder but looked a bit more confident for the next batter and records a strikeout.

This is such a different team with a defender that can actually play the shortstop position.

This is such a different team with a defender that can actually play the shortstop position. I was just thinking its so nice to know that plays are going to made from the SS position instead of worrying about it everytime.

Monty got got the first 15 outs and it'll take three pitchers to get the next 6.

I went to some Blue Jays games back in the 1980s when they played at Exhibition Stadium. One of the worst baseball stadiums ever. The seats were so far from the field you needed binoculars to follow the game. In fact I am pretty sure that the cheap seats were further from the field than in any stadium ever used for baseball.
It was right off the lake and the wind was brutal, like Candlestick. Seagulls constantly flew around the park. It's the stadium where Winfield killed a seagull with a throw from the outfield.
This was when the Jays had George Bell and Lloyd Moseby and Willie Upshaw and Tony Fernandez and Rance Mullinicks and Dane Iorg. Or maybe it was Garth.
Anyway, I don't think many tears were shed when they demolished that place.
