Johnson for sure. But Ford only had one CYA and I don't recall him pitching a no-hitter. I can't come up with another. I think Catfish Hunter only had one CYA. Didn't Gaylord Perry throw like back to back no hitters? Johnny Vandermeer is the only pitcher to throw back to back no-hitters. I think Perry was involved in a situation where no-hitters were thrown in back to back games. |

Ford wasn't one of those effectively wild guys. In many ways, Clemens was also too much around the plate, which plays against throwing a no hitter. |

Steve Carlton and Greg Maddux were two more guys who never threw a no-hitter. Also Mussina. |
