At least it's now a Golden Sombrero. Gold? I think they dipped it in gold with his head still in it…

Geez. I had no idea a .165 average and 50% strike out rate would play so well in so many places. Let them have him. Hope it works out for them.

Gallo has convinced me that he is unwilling or unable to learn a different approach. He is all slugger and a poor hitter. Dave Kingman would seem like Tony Gwynn in comparison. I was against the trade from the beginning, thinking that we needed a left-handed LeMahieu and/or Urshela scattered throughout the lineup to offset the streaky nature of an overly right-handed, strikeout prone lineup. After they signed Gallo, I was intrigued to see how his defense would affect and contribute. He is an excellent athlete, which is more disappointing that he cannot make adjustments at the plate. Baltimore's Chris Davis comes to mind in that regard.

The Toronto Blue Jays are among teams interested in Kansas City Royals outfielder and former Madeira High School standout Andrew Benintendi, according to a report Wednesday via Twitter from MLB Network's Jon Morosi.

Yankees Exploring Market For Outfield Upgrades Kansas City’s Andrew Benintendi is among the likeliest outfielders to be traded, given his upcoming free agency, his strong .305/.370/.393 batting line and the Royals’ fifth-place standing in the AL Central. Other outfielders likely to be available include Oakland’s Ramon Laureano, Baltimore’s Anthony Santander and Trey Mancini, Cincinnati’s Tyler Naquin and Tommy Pham, Detroit’s Robbie Grossman, Pittsburgh’s Ben Gamel, Arizona’s David Peralta and Chicago’s Ian Happ. www.mlbtraderumors.com/

Although if it's Pham, make sure there are no issues with his Fantasy Football team.

Plus his swing is made for Yankee Stadium.
