Gallo has become must-watch TV. Will he strikeout looking? Will he strikeout at another high fastball? Will he strikeout on the breaking ball away?
Such intrigue!

A rare opportunity to say something nice about Hicks. Good sliding catch.

He should at least get a chance in Pittsburgh, maybe even against the Yanks this week. I didn't realize the Yankees were playing Pittsburgh. We get to see Ke'Bryan Hayes and Bryan Reynolds plus the 6'7" SS Oneil Cruz. He looks so out of place, like a giant straddling the infield. PNC Park is another really good one. Wonderful view of the skyline. And great seats are always available. Chi went to school in Pittsburgh. Have you visited their ballpark Chi?

Gallo has become must-watch TV. More like head to the fridge for a drink and snack because you won't miss anything.

In all seriousness, he is definitely in the running for the worst regularly-playing position player in Yankee history.

Can Cleveland hurry up and score already so we can start our comeback runs?

I'm sure Pirate brass are unhappy at the huge July 4th gate they're losing out on.

Monty picks up Falafel with the strikeout to end the inning.

If you're not going to hit you got to make those routine plays, Falafel.

Yes, I went on a family vacation in 2016 to Cleveland and Pittsburgh. My son & I saw the Yanks play in Cleveland and then the next night we watched the Cubs play the Pirates in PNC Park. We didn't know it at the time, but we were watching the eventual World Series teams play on back to back nights, too bad it wasn't the Yanks. Both stadiums are a great place to catch a game, but my son and I both like Progressive Field more than the much more talked about PNC.

Monty works out of it. But the extra pitches have Boonie calculating about taking him out after 4 2/3 innings if the Yankees take the lead.
Arias does not look ready for prime time.

If Gallo went 20 for his next 20 with all 20 of those hits home runs (stats as of the start of today’s play, his average would soar to .216. He’d have 29 HR, and we’d all love him again…
