If Gallo went 20 for his next 20 with all 20 of those hits home runs (stats as of the start of today’s play, his average would soar to .216. He’d have 29 HR, and we’d all love him again… Again? I've hated that trade from the start.

Chi went to school in Pittsburgh. Have you visited their ballpark Chi? Yes, I went on a family vacation in 2016 to Cleveland and Pittsburgh. My son & I saw the Yanks play in Cleveland and then the next night we watched the Cubs play the Pirates in PNC Park. We didn't know it at the time, but we were watching the eventual World Series teams play on back to back nights, too bad it wasn't the Yanks. Both stadiums are a great place to catch a game, but my son and I both like Progressive Field more than the much more talked about PNC. Cool stuff! Thats interesting you liked Progressive Field better. You always hear good things about PNC. Progressive Field will always be infamous for me due to the midges that came and swarmed Joba.

I can think of a few more.

Come on. This guy isn't that good. It's only because Monty is pitching, isn't it?

But by the end of his run, it was obvious his time had passed. And he should have bunted against Ketchup sock boy.

Just a couple blocks from the left field entrance/exit at Progressive Field, there's a street with a bunch of hotels, restaurants and bars. It's super easy to get in and out of the ballpark and back to your hotel. One morning we were leaving our hotel to go get breakfast and saw Larry Rothschild taking an early morning walk.

Really, he should have gone after losing to Boston in 2004. Subsequent events proved that to be true. Even great Yankee managers like Joe McCarthy and Casey Stengel were justifiably let go in their day. At some point it's time to change. In any line of work.
