Makes no sense to give up a quality starter for an average OF. Has to be more.

Wondering if possibly…that Gumby wanted out of NY? He was very pissed last time Boone pulled him early and has a king history of Boone treating him that way.
I dunno. Just a thought…

True. With the bat. But in the field he’s a monster go-getter….

They're trusting German, Severino (when hes back) and Schmidt to be the 5-7th starters.
Cashman for two decades has put together inadequate rotations and it's cost them in October annually, I hope he didn't just limit this team's ability for 2022.

Tough one. Hard to understand. If so that means Hicks is gone next year?. I think Hicks is going to be demoted to a reserve OF spot…

An awful lot of faith in arms that have had issues in recent years (including Taillon and Montas). Here's what I see from Yahoo fantasy: ---- Yankees acquired OF Harrison Bader from the Cardinals for LHP Jordan Montgomery. Advice: It's a straight one-for-one swap that fits needs on both sides, presuming that Bader can make a successful recovery from his recent diagnosis of plantar fasciitis. He is among the very best defensive center fielders in the sport when healthy and still might carry some offensive upside at age 28. At last check, Bader was about a week away from getting out of a walking boot. He could feasibly debut in New York by late August.(NBCSportsEDGE.com)

So now it's ? Cole Montas Cortes Taillon German/Schmidt/? Severino likely to bullpen because not likely to be stretched out upon return. Just don't get this trade. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
