Teams have to stop cooperating with ESPN on this BS. ESPN pays the money, ESPN gets to do what it wants to do. It’s all about the money… By the way, Costas… I like you, you’re a great broadcaster when you’re there to broadcast, but if you want to revise the playoff format just write a letter to the league…

Jeter has taken on a skid-row bum look with the stubble beard and tee shirts…

A-Rod keeps reaching over and touching Jeter, mostly on the leg. Creepy…

A-Rod keeps interrupting Jeter and touching him on the knee and shoulder.

When did Benintendi turn into a strikeout machine? He wasn't brought in to fill that part of Gallo's game.

How come there is no automatic pitch count limit for Wacha in his first game back off the IL but Montas was pulled at 78 pitches in his second game with the Yankees? The Yankees always want to be "smart" about things. Someone is ready according to their physicians, but the Yankees still provide an "extra" day to be "smart." These guys (Yankee current brain trust) are living off the history and dynasties of the past and believe they invented it all.

Three and a half innings in 51 minutes, a very fast clip for Yankees-Red Sox.
The fastest nine-inning game in MLB history was also 51 minutes. The Giants beat the Phillies 6-1 on September 28 1919. Somehow the Giants accumulated 13 hits in this span. The two teams had agreed ahead of time to play the game as quickly as possible so the Phillies could make their train.

How the hell is Wacha pitching so well just back from the IL? Oh! Are they playing the game? I didn’t notice with all the crap going on. Most of the play in the field is being ignored while A-Rod sips from that can of whatever, Paul Simon stammers through stories, Michael Kay’s huge head occupies 1/3 of the screen. Then Costas comes on and covers another 1/3 while also talking over the broadcast. I’m not enjoying this format at all at this point… Tonight, I went to watch the game, but it isn't available via MLB.TV. So, I went to my Disney+ subscription, which has Hulu and ESPN+. Evidently, ESPN+ is not the same as ESPN or ESPN2, so I cannot watch the game there either. So, I went to sign in to ESPN, which asks for your provider. I clicked on Hulu; however, apparently I do not have the correct Hulu Streaming Subscription, so I cannot watch the game there either. I hate and abhor ESPN, which I once adored, and I hope to all eternity that the entire corporation goes under and is lost to history.
