There's a lot to rip on Cashman for but I thought their offer to Judge this past off season was more than fair. Credit Judge for turning it down and having an MVP caliber season. The only way to get Castillo was offer Volpe in the deal. Would anyone here do that? Yes I would, no guarantee Volpe is the real deal, plus they still have Peraza whose been knocking on the door before he got hurt. Much better chance of making it to the WS with Castillo. I would have, too… I think Volpe is the real deal, but the WS is the goal… |
