I checked to see if new Texas catcher Sam Huff was related to the Giants HOF middle linebacker of the same name. It appears not, although at 6'5" 250 pounds he's considerably larger than the real Sam Huff, who was 6'1" and 230 pounds. Apparently not related to Aubrey Huff either for those of you keeping score at home. If you can't get a taxi, you can leave in a huff. If that's too soon, you can leave in a minute and a huff.

I've never seen anyone hit HR's like Stanton. He's just a different kind of animal. Top of my head I'm thinking Mantle and Dick Allen hit them like that. But it's rare and he certainly has to be near the top all time for just crushing a baseball. Killebrew, Frank Howard. Probably Foxx and Ruth…
