Houston does not get a lot of good reviews. Excellent dining scene, but then it is the fourth largest city in the US. Sprawling city. The Concrete Jungle. When you play golf in south Louisiana or Houston, you need two or three gloves, because they will be soaked with sweat after a few holes. A change of socks and shirt at the turn is a good habit as well. Houston is the only U.S. city with a major professional sports team that I have never been to. Which of course now makes it a target, but there's always someplace else I'd rather go.

Houston does not get a lot of good reviews. They rate very high in heat, humidity, and crime… Triple threat, but they cannot beat New Orleans per capita for murder and violent crime.

The one season that I shipped tulip and daffodil bulbs it was amazing how many thousands would go to the large estates down there. It must be one heck of a show in the spring at those places (if you can get past the gates)…

Stanton is such a joke on the bases. It's hard to watch.

Stanton leaving a slime trail behind him on the way into second base, so he’s out…

I just grabbed a handful of animal crackers to snack on. There are so many in my hand it’s like playing Jenga eating them…
