Good to see the Mets get crushed. Made me thought of something I saw last Friday. I live across the street from the University of Vermont and as I was pulling out of my driveway I saw a student walking to class wearing a Mets hat, and suit of Met logos all over the jacket and pants. My first thought was, "now there's a guy who's never going to get laid in college". I wonder if he cried himself to sleep last night? Like i said the whole collapse comments when the Yankees didn't collapse then buck last week joked that least they had a better record than the Yankees so they would have home field in a subway World Series. Like the Yankees are way too much in their heads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Probably picked up some sort of bacterial infection from too much close contact with trash cans.

You can bet the Met fans would be brazenly obnoxious had this befallen the Yankees. I remember in 2004 the Met faithful acting like auxiliary Boston fans, as if THEY had actually won something. Interesting that you live right across from the U of V. The Catamounts! They always had a crew entry at the Dad Vail Regatta in Philly and the Head Of The Charles in Boston. Lake Champlain is a beautiful place to practice for those fours and eights. Catamounts is just too close to catamite for purchasing fan gear.

Catamounts is just too close to catamite for purchasing fan gear. Ah, I see the Inger influence is growing. I first learned that word in college reading Anthony Burgess - an author that always sends me to the dictionary at least a couple times or three. It was from his hilarious novel "Earthly Powers," which has one of the most arresting first sentences in the history of literature, especially to those readers raised Catholic. The Vatican I crowd especially. "It was the afternoon of my eighty-first birthday, and I was in bed with my catamite when Ali announced that the archbishop had come to see me."

Stupid Yordan Alvarez and the Astros.
Why would you throw him a fastball there?

Stupid Yordan Alvarez and the Astros.
Why would you throw him a fastball there? Scott Servais not looking too bright bringing in Robbie Ray who has a grand total of four relief appearances in his career to face a hitter with a .321 BA against lefties. Result is a 438-foot three-run homer.
