who would we have replaced him with. I am not sure if the Yankees were dreaming or not honest in assuming the injured batters could play in this series. Can we give Carpenter a break they gave him no minor league starts, a few days at a simulated rehab site which isn't a real game, then 2 AB in the ALDS 3 games apart. Yeah. He's just not ready. Unfair to expect much. Which begs he question as to why he's on the post-season roster. |

I wasn't expecting much in this game so to be tied in the 6th inning and only lose by 2 I guess isn't terrible. It's a 7 game series and they aren't going to strike out 17 times a game. |

I doubt Carpenter will be in the lineup tomorrow against the left handed throwing Valdez. They'll probably go back to Stanton at DH and Cabrera in LF. |

Yea I just mean I'm sure he will get more than 2 whole ABS in the rest of the series Obviously it's only one game and they can win tomorrow, but this reminds me of 2019 they won the first game, but then in the second they kind of gave the game away when putting happ in late who gave up winning run. Like you gotta win these games when you can. |
