We got our internet connected. Maybe… just maybe I can see the game via my computer tonight while we work out the kinks on our new TV service. I had the internet guy inform me that ESPN+ features Yes network and every MLB game. Can anyone confirm? I thought I’d have to get MLB extra innings for the games… ESPN+ won’t get you the playoff games.

In the last six playoff games, the Yanks 5 or 6 hits each game. That's incredible. Good thing they're hitting home runs because that's is about as bad as it gets. This is not a good hitting team right now and we've seen this in every playoff since 2009. Sure, injuries have hurt them, but playing people who should not be playing is killing this team. If Judge doesn't start hitting, they'll be lucky to win more than one game. Agree, although for the most part this is the Baseball World we are living in. Houston in its last 36 innings has had just 24 hits, or six hits per nine innings, but has won all of those games. It's frustrating that in last night's game, Altuve, Alvarez, Bregman and Tucker -- arguably Houston's four best hitters -- had a combined zero hits, yet the Astros won. The pencil-neck geeks pushing launch angle and exit velo have gotten their way, and this is the result. It was a better game when tobacco-stained alcohol-infused barely literate jamokes like Earl Weaver and Sparky Anderson and Billy Martin were calling the shots. It turns out that the same highly-credentialed eggheads who can't run an economy can't run baseball either.

I also have MLB extra innings package and at least through my provider they do not carry post season games.

The World Series is all on FOX.

I should have read the postings backwards. Anyway, how's the weather in your heads, gentlemen?

The gorgeous fall weather up here has be wonderful, but is getting ready to take a dive. Only in the fifties this week end and forties by Monday. But mostly wind is on the way. At last we finally got our propane this week, so we can turn the heat on…

Stormy. Always so. The gorgeous fall weather up here has be wonderful, but is getting ready to take a dive. Only in the fifties this week end and forties by Monday. But mostly wind is on the way. At last we finally got our propane this week, so we can turn the heat on… Where are you now, Inger, and how far and what direction from Pueblo? It’s only about an hour or a bit more southwest of Pueblo as the crow files, but since there are no roads over the two mountain chains in between, it’s about 2.25 hours by road. It’s also uphill exactly 2,400 ft. From Pueblo. We’re about 9 miles north of Alamosa, which functions almost like a desert oasis with two colleges in town. Also about 4 miles south of Mosca, which is only home to 400 or so people. It’s truly like a planet unto itself here. It’s the highest of the high desert. We sit in a bowl surrounded by mountains. Mostly flat land with extremely little rainfall, yet a huge aquifer…

You are on the wrong game thread Inger How far is it as the wolf runs... Yikes. There is no wrong thread in side discussions… the wolf runs further than the eagle flies, for he must negotiate the terrain…It would take him many days to journey through there. No wolves in this part of the state though. They’re to the northwest…

The key is how far it is for the wolf to run or the dragon to fly. Don't you know tolkien Probably not a lot of dragons either in your state
