Sheesh. Another awful offensive output. When the Yanks go into a slump, they go into the deep freeze.

Astros win because of a hit by pitch and a home run. Six of those eight hits were meaningless. Just thought I would factually clarify.

Carpenter is just too rusty. Pretty much have to sweep at Yankee Stadium. Hope the fans are past the F Altuve chant. It only makes him better. I'll be going to Game 5 if we make it there. Rain in the forecast though. Yeah, at this point just having a Game 5 sounds like a dream. No wonder the betting line on Houston was -190 before the series. Probably -1,900 by now.

This one's on the offense. Putrid hitting. Like obviously the Yankees have the pitching advantage the next two games and in could see them winning both and tying the series, but why is it so hard to win in this stupid stadium? Altuve and Alvarez also did barely anything which is hard to believe it will stay like that all series. That pitch to Stanton was ridiculous low. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They put him in an impossible situation.

He should have been in the Texas series facing major league pitching instead of aa simulated games vs their pitchers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yankees should have spent some of the billions dollars they spent on the stadium on a roof One bad mistake by Sevy gone and we would be tied heading back to Yankee stadium despite terrible hitting

Positives i guess are both games were close they actually led one and it's not like the Astros are scoring a bunch either. Yesterday was worse because you feel like Boone didn't manage that one to win.
As far as carpenter I feel like he will prob make contact eventually but what other power is there on the bench there isn't any. It also doesn't help that Trevino is a shell of his first half self since the all star game.
