Strike outs are just outs (well according to some sabematricians anyhow). Even given that I think our purchasing decisions are badly skewed, this would be a better team by far without the injuries. Not sure why we get devastated by injuries and Houston does not. Older players? No I have no idea.

Even worse they just said 9 games in a row 6 hits or less going back to the Judge #62 game Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Oh my. That's beyond terrible.

Yankees should have spent some of the billions dollars they spent on the stadium on a roof One bad mistake by Sevy gone and we would be tied heading back to Yankee stadium despite terrible hitting NYC paid for the Stadium, not the Yankees. Whoever paid for it they still should have bought a roof. It's not like bad weather is unusual to the stadium or they did not know that.

They got 5 hits in several of the Cleveland games which I guess is less than 6 Ignoring the Stanton decision (one of the worse we have made ever as he never produces remotely what we paid for him and we will be paying a long time) we choose to invest in expensive pitchers not hitters. Hopefully they will use chapman and brittan's salary to get some one who can hit 300. But not likely. Cashman sees little value in doing so.

Well, Benintendi was supposed to be a consistent .300 hitter, but of course, he got hurt.

Also MLB should have shifted this series back 1 day. Whether it was the Yankees or not there should never be a series that determines who plays in the WORLD SERIES not have a travel day between the last series and this one after making the players sit for FOUR HOURS on that rainout day.

He does not go after elite offensive players in free agency. Other teams have.

Judge hit 311 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk judge wasn't a free agent player from another team. If he had been he would not be on the Yankees. I doubt he will be on the Yankees next year I don't think he is going to go anywhere I think the whole 62 thing changed things the team really showed their dedication during that. I also saw he made a new charity foundation that has Yankee images in the logo and there's some event in nyc for it near thanksgiving. He knows if he wants to be the next Jeter this the place to do that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I agree. But there is a significant economic impact of moving games. If we had a roof it would not have mattered

Given his age I am not sure giving him the salary it will take is a good investment

I feel a special kind of sadness after Yankee losses. It doesn’t linger for long, but I carry it through the next day. This one hurt. Now our backs are against the wall. We need to return the favor of the sweep in NY…
